Vallejo, CA
----- 7 Flags Car Wash and Express Lube is pleased to announce
that it's Fairfield location at 2270 North Texas Street, has
been certified by Solano County as the first green business
in the city of Fairfield. The certification was completed
on June 10, 2009, making the car wash the 4th business to
be certified in the county. Green businesses
conserve energy and water, recycle and reduce their waste,
and ensure they don't pollute. The county certification program
works with businesses to become green according to set standards
by a team of inspectors from the Solano Garbage Company, City
of Fairfield Water Division, Small Business Energy Alliance,
Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District and the County Hazardous Materials
Division. Said Jack Anthony, President/CEO
of 7 Flags Car Wash, "We are extremely pleased and honored
to be recognized for our environmental efforts. We have always
complied with, or exceeded environmental regulations within
our industry, and now with the county's "Green Business
Certification Program," we have taken further steps toward
conserving resources and preventing pollution. 7 Flags Car
Wash has made the same commitment in the operations of our
all our locations and looks forward to being certified in
Vacaville and Vallejo soon. We are continuing our stewardship
of green business practices in the community and recommend
that all small business work with their county officials to
become certified.
